  • The difference between Normal and Healthy: how this impacts everything we know about diagnosis and treatment in science
  • Fundamentals of neurophysiology and biomechanics of the TMJ, its impacts on occlusion and facial orthopedics
  • Anatomy, embryology and joint physiology
  • Overview of the main known causes of TMJ disease: trauma, infection, autoimmunity, occlusion/biomechanics, tumors,  metabolic and endocrine diseases.
  • Bioinstrumentation overview of all tools intended to measure function, neuro biomechanics and morphology of the TMJ and occlusion: EMG, Jaw tracking, mastication analysis, tscan, JVA, baropodometry, stabilometry, thermal imaging, MRI, CBCT
  • Introduction to the measurable neurophysiological protocol for TMJ pathology diagnosis and treatment
Hands on: practice among participants: Jaw tracking, EMG, JVA and masticatory cycle analysis all combined into easy practical applications
